Businessman Paul “PK” Kemsley, the 54-year old husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley, 45, was arrested November 23rd, in Los Angeles, for suspicion of driving under the influence.
He was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol while driving on the 101, his lawyer Alan Jackson commented to People Magazine. He reportedly blew a .08 during a breathalyzer test – over the legal limit – and was taken to the station. There he reportedly blew a .073 and was taken home by authorities about an hour later.
He regrets that he did not take alternate transportation home that evening. He said he had a glass of wine with dinner. PK takes the allegations “extremely seriously and fully cooperated with the authorities”.
“This would mark the first and only driving incident in Pk’s long driving history He has learned a valuable lesson”, says Jackson.
The English businessman’s arrest came a month after he and Dorit were the victim of a home invasion at their Encino home. She was asleep with her two young children (Jagger,7, and daughter Pheonix, 5) when three male intruders broke in on the night of October 27th. PK was in London at the time.
She explains that the incident has deeply affected her. Adding that she’s since sought help. “There’s deep trauma. I’m taking it day by day, doing therapy, and doing all of the things I need to do to come up on the other side”, she said.
